SQL Server 2016- Unable to configure listener. error coming while clicking on Add button –

·         Open event viewer and find the error it will show you cluster name< JaiCluster$> in the error-

·         As per the error - JaiCluster$ is the cluster node name which not have permission to create listener Objects. If it’s not in AD add it into AD. Allow Read permission on clicking check box and Click on advance tab

·         Select cluster node JaiCluster$ and click on Edit and

·         Select create computer object and delete computer object.  Ok à Apply à OK à Ok

·         Now you will able to create listener.
